Installation |

At World of Worktops we offer two options of installations; the regular template and fit and our one stop installation service. |

Option 1: Regular Installation - Template & Fit |
|
Our regular installation consists of two visits to your home; the first is to make a physical template of your worktop requirements and to ascertain the exact position of your hob and sink followed by an installation appointment to affix your worktops to the cabinets. The time between visits is usually 10 - 14 days. This service is slightly more expensive due to the second visit and is normally used only when stone cutting and polishing is not suitable on site. All stone cutting and polishing is usually completed in our factory in Hoddesdon with this option. |

Option 2: One Stop Installation |
|
Our one stop installation option is certainly the most appealing to the majority of our customers as it is slightly cheaper in cost with no delay. Our expert craftsmen visit your home with pre cut lengths that have been cut from a slab at our factory and have at least one edge polished in advance. We then make a physical template to record accurate measurements and positions of the sink and hob if required and place these templates on the pre cut lengths. Using our state of the art Blue Ripper Jr rail saw we can then cut the back of the worktops to suit the cabinet depths ensuring an even over hang at the front in just a few minutes. Whether you have an under mounted sink with draining grooves or an insert sink our trained staff will make sure that they are cut and polished to accept your appliances.The sink polishing is usually completed using the Red Ripper Jr router which can polish an under mounted sink in approximately 45 minutes. |

As the Blue Ripper Jr rail saw and the Red Ripper Jr router is water fed the amount of mess caused is kept to a minimum, however to ensure that dust and debris do not upset your neighbours all works is carried out inside an industrial strength Gazebo that is erected in your garden that comes complete with a ground sheet and sides. |
